Key Texts
|
|
An important part of TSF's work to make hard to find material available for present-day scholars. We have long had ambitions to publish key texts that are now hard to find and have agreed to use the TSF website as the means to do this. It is intended that a number of texts will appear in this section in the coming year and the first of these are now available. We present these in the belief that they are out of copyright as well as having been out of print for many years.

Internet links

At
our meeting in November 2002 our 'Forum Focus'
session was on the use of the Internet in researching
folk song. As a result of this discussion we produced
a list of useful sites. This list has been checked
and updated in August 2010. Please advise me (Martin Graebe) of any broken links - or, indeed, of any interesting sites that you think should be added.

David
Herron
contributed a nice bibliography of song books (mostly traditional)
currently in print. A good starting point for the beginner in folk
song.

We
have ambitions to create a small collection of songs
on the site. The number available at present remains
small - but we remain hopeful.
